ESS 2300 - Environmental Science Communication
Lec. 2. Lab. 3. Credit 3. Prerequisite: ESS 1200 or ESS 2200 ; or previous research experience plus conent of instructor. A course on developing oral and written scientific communication skills necessary to convey research findings in a variety of formats used by professionals in the environmental sciences and allied fields. Students will learn basic principles of scientific writing and the process of developing oral and poster presentations for conferences, and manuscripts for scientific journals.
