MET 4700 - Automation of Manufacturing Systems
Lec. 3. Credit 3. Prerequisite: Senior or Graduate Standing in Engineering or Engineering Technology. General principles of operation and programming of automated systems. Automated assembly, automated manufacturing, and inspection systems. Control of automated manufacturing. Industrial logic systems and programmable logic controllers. Computer numerical control, industrial robotics, and computer integrated manufacturing. Students enrolled in the 5000-level course will be required to complete additional work as stated in the syllabus.
